Why are we doing this?
In short, there is no current forum that asks the big questions of where we want Scotland to be by 2050. Recognising the global and domestic challenges facing Scotland in an ever-changing landscape, we believe that new thinking is required to reimagine what can be achieved to deliver a new enlightenment.

When is Scotland 2050 taking place?
The inaugural Scotland 2050 conference took place at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh on the 17th June 2025. Our next conference is expected to take place in June 2026.
