Scotland 2050 Hustings
Held in association with
On 31 March 2026, Scotland 2050 hosted an evening of rigorous debate at the magnificent Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, bringing together politicians from across the political spectrum to answer one question.
As we approach a defining election, what is the long-term vision for Scotland?
Held in association with The Scotsman and chaired independently, the hustings gave the public a rare and genuine opportunity to put their questions directly to those hoping to lead the nation. Hundreds of people packed the Assembly Rooms for an evening that was honest, challenging and at times surprising.
This is what Scotland 2050 is all about. Not politicians talking at people. People talking to politicians.
